The track/tubes are the strongest and most accurate collapsable rail that we have seen on the market. Constructed from high-grade 6061 aluminum for rigidity and machined to a tolerance of .001″, sections of track connect seamlessly via threaded connectors (you will not notice a “bump” when rolling over them). The 19″ sections are interchangeable with our larger 40″ PortaRail systems so if longer range is needed, you can always add more length. At the included 6.3′ length, the rails have less than 1/8″ of flex with a 40lb load placed at the center. Transporting long pipe or tube for a suspended rail system like this has been prohibitive in the past for both cost and convenience reasons. Our goal in designing this system was to provide a professional solution for traveling production that does not require carrying additional bags or a bunch of extra hardware and stands to operate. The all-in-one design of the Passport slider/dolly can save $100 or more per trip in just checked bags. Portable dolly systems where track is placed on the ground have achieved this in the past but the Passport suspended rail dolly offers a lot more flexibility in where and how you can use it such as on uneven terrain or placing the system over objects. One of the practical design elements of the carriage is that it can be used as a high-hat without any reconfiguration. RigWheels PortaRail SKU: PR01 PortaRail collapsible camera slider rail now available. Sections are 40″ (1 meter) long and can be screwed together seamlessly via the threaded connectors. These rails are constructed from high grade 6061 aluminum which is much stronger than the architectural aluminum that is sometimes used for similar applications. The stronger material provides much more rigidity which means a more solid system with very little flex. At 80″ the camera slider rails have less than 1/8″ of flex with a 40 pound load placed at the center. Each piece goes through a 6 step process to make them straight enough and round enough for precision camera movement. 4 sections total (80″ per side) is typical for most setups but you can add as many sections as you need for longer shots. This product can also be used with many other suspended or ground-rail systems that work with a similar OD. The outside diameter is 1.65″ (41.9mm).

RigWheels PT-Zero Upright The PT-Zero looks similar to the previous PTZ isolators however, there is a lot more isolation happening. We’ve added more than 30 new isolation components which dramatically increases the degree of isolation possible. We’ve also added more mounting and positioning options. We’ve made it much more easy to install the PT-Zero than the previous isolators. The PT-Zero uses a target weight range of 3,62-5,44 kg. Certainly, there are lots of quality PTZ cameras that are lighter than this so we have created weights that can be added to get to the target weight. The RigWheels PT-Zero isolator sections ship fully or partially assembled (depending on the option selected) and the other wall brackets and mounting accessories can be added on easily. In some scenarios, it’s necessary or convenient to place the PTZ camera on top of a surface or stand. With the newly added isolation components, we now also get exceptional results with the “camera-on-top” position and can offer this configuration for more installation options.

This configuration uses one RigPlate, two RigAxles and two different types of skate wheels. The RailDolly Camera Slider can also be used on square or rectangular rails. Square/rectangular rails are much more rigid at long lengths than tube/pipe so if you’re going to be putting a BIG camera rig in motion this is an ideal option. With the components in this kit you can also configure our RigSkate so you get 2 great options for movement. If attaching a ball mount tripod head you will need one of our Bowl Mount Adapters. This configuration also included the parts to configure our RigSkate so you get 2 great options for movement.

RigWheels RigAxle SKU: RA01 RigAxles are designed to be used in conjunction with RigPlate. They allow for several different additional configurations that provide you with even more options for getting smooth camera movement with the RigWheels system.RigAxles with custom inline wheels attached to the ends turn the RigPlate into a more robust tabletop dolly with a larger footprint. This is an ideal solution for larger camera setups. You can also pivot the RigAxles to get curved dolly moves.A single RigAxle can be used in conjunction with RigPlate and RigWheels to add a bottom bar to make a captive rail pipe slider. RigAxles and RigPlate are used together to in RailDolly configuration.

RigWheels RigMount 100 Heavy Duty Magnetic Camera Mount SKU: RM100 The RigWheels RigMount 100 was developed during real world productions to fulfill the need of permanently mounting cameras to windshields / glass. You would not normally think of using magnets to mount cameras to anything other than metal but as it turns out, they work amazingly well for all sorts of applications. The designs for this part were sitting on our shelf for a couple years and it wasn’t until a recent production requirement presented itself that we decided to move forward with production.

The great thing about mounting a camera with a RigMount magnetic mount is that once it is safely attached to a steel surface it will never loose it’s holding power. This gives you peace of mind and better results as well. With industrial grade high-power rare-earth magnets these magnetic mounts will amaze you with their strength when affixed to a compatible metal. (up to 50lbs each in a vertical pull) Many other mounting devices can sag or detach as time passes.
