Its shape is perfectly fitted to the cable input on the camera so that it does not interfere with the camera’s functions. After the cable is plugged into the camera, the clamps are adjusted to the size of the camera with two M4 screws, which prevents the cable from accidental detachment. Designed for use with Entaniya 280° and other super-wide angle fisheye lenses, this mount replaces the original tripod mount on your Ribcage Modified Hero4 camera. It allows you mount the camera either vertically or horizontally with either of two standard 1/4″ – 20 tripod mounts centered directly behind and below the image sensor.

Ribcage Modified Hero4 cameras can be mounted in either vertical or horizontal orientation. When in vertical configuration (cameras on their sides) you can take advantage of all the shooting modes the cameras have to offer to achieve near 6K/30 or full 4K/60*. In addition when in vertical configuration the battery compartment and all the buttons are easily accessible including the side button. The Ribcage 3x mounting bracket also supports Modulus Sensor Housing which can be connected directly. The camera mounting plates can be connected to put the cameras in horizontal configuration, or they can be turned over so the camera bodies hang underneath when Modulus Sensor Housings are connected via our extended jumper. Unlike a mouse, you can use your right hand to control the position in a clip, while your left hand is setting in and out points as well as applying edits. This means you can move, mark in and out points, apply an edit, then move again, repeatedly, one after the other, again and again. It’s an extremely fast way to work, using both hands at once. You can even select points and use the search dial to live trim. The search dial is big, so trimming is very accurate.
