The user retains the ability to hot swap between the onboard Sony NPF-Series and external cinema battery. The Micro Battery Slide Pro is compatible with both micro and full-sized cinema batteries. It also features 2x D-Tap (5.8 Amps) port for accessory power as well as a digital fuse which cuts off accessory outputs, should the user exceed the set current for accessories, while leaving the camera powered.Once the current load has been reduced by either removing accessories or reconfiguring, the reset button can be pressed to enable accessory power again.

Easy access to battery and card's openings
Every user exploits his camera diferently, but everyone requires smooth and undisturbed access to every button, plug and opening placed on the camera`s surface - 8Sinn meets such needs. Due to significant dimensions of the camera itself, the cage was equipped with two mounting screws (upper and lower). Besides those two screws, 8Sinn has placed additional pins on the inside surface of the cage - these pins are dedicted to cages' bottom openings - their task is to prevent the camera body from twisting/sliding after being mounted on the cage.
Mounting Points & COLD SHOE
One of cage`s tasks is to protect your camera from being damaged by precisely enclosing it. 8Sinn cage protects your gear, but above all it will expand its possibilities. Surface of the cage is covered with 1/4 threaded mounting points - their amount and location allow the cameraman variuos camera accessories arrangement.

Since the BMPCC 4K / 6K doesn’t have an SDI input connectors like the other Blackmagic studio cameras, the LPC converts the SDI program feed from the switcher into a Bluetooth signal that the BMPCC can read. The LPC only requires a 12V DC connection to operate. It also features and SDI loop out port if you want to daisy chain another Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. Please note that you still have to take the pocket HDMI signal and send it to the switcher.

The new Metabones Speed Booster XL 0.64x reduces the full-frame crop factor of the BMPCC4K as shown in the table further above. In addition, the speed of any attached lens is increased by 1 1/3stops, with a maximum output aperture of f/0.80 when an f/1.2 lens is used. For example, a 50mm f/1.2 becomes a 32mm f/0.80, which is the fastest aperture available for Blackmagic cameras.
Just like the Metabones Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x for BMPCC4K, the Speed Booster XL 0.64x is optimized to correctly account for the BMPCC4K camera’s specific filter stack located near the sensor surface. The Speed Booster XL 0.64x is similar to the Blackmagic 0.64x BMCC Speed Booster (DISCONTINUED), but has been completely re-designed to meet the following requirements:
The working distance has increased by 1mm to permit use on the Panasonic GH4 and a number of other Micro Four Thirds cameras without touching the flexible outer cover of the camera’s shutter mechanism.
The optics are optimized for a standard Micro Four Thirds filter stack thickness of 4mm rather than the 2.4mm found in Blackmagic cameras.
The image circle diameter has been increased to 21.63mm so that the full 17.3mm x 13mm Four Thirds format is covered. This has been achieved while maintaining unusually high image quality over the 17.4mm image circle used by the Panasonic GH4 in its Cinema 4k video mode.
Although the Speed Booster XL 0.64x has extra clearance compared to the 0.64x BMCC Speed Booster, there are still a number of Micro Four Thirds cameras that are not supported due to mechanical clearance issues. This is summarized in the table below, which is color-coded so that Green means the camera is supported and Red means the camera is not supported.
Note that many of the Red-coded cameras actually do function, but there is a minor interference with the protective shutter cover. Although slight contact with the shutter cover appears to have no effect on the functioning or cosmetics of either the camera or the Speed Booster we cannot support these combinations due to possible risk of damage.
Autofocus with an Optimum Balance of Accuracy, Speed, Consistency and Reliability
New in Speed Booster XL for Canon EF Mount to Micro Four Thirds is autofocus support, subject to certain limitations (see table above for details). We are pleased to report that Panasonic Micro Four Thirds camera bodies are capable of autofocusing accurately even if the maximum aperture of the Speed Booster and the lens combined is in the sub-f/1.0 range. Although our first and foremost priority is accuracy, we are able to make great strides in autofocus speed as well.

In particular, the Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x is optimized to correctly account for the BMPCC4K camera’s specific filter stack located near the sensor surface. This is especially critical at the extremely large apertures made possible by Speed Booster technology. As a result of this careful optimization, an enormous range of full-frame optics, ranging from vintage film lenses to the latest digital designs, will function flawlessly when adapted to BMPCC4K bodies.
The Metabones Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x reduces the crop factor of the BMPCC4K camera as shown in the above table. The new design for BMPCC4K makes very effective use of exotic materials at the furthest limit of glassmaking technology, and as a result is almost perfectly corrected for use with all full-frame SLR lenses regardless of aperture or exit pupil distance. The Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x will also work extremely well with many DX and APS-C format lenses, provided the image circle provided by the lens is large enough. The Unified BMPCC4K Camera Cage is designed for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K camera and features a minimalist design that provides mounting points on the top and side while leaving all of the camera's vital controls on the right grip and left side easily viewable and accessible.The Wooden Camera Unified BMPCC4K Camera Cage includes a reversible top handle in your choose of wood or rubber, which can be repositioned over the lens area when an XLR adapter is in use. Built into the handle is a cold shoe mount and a 15mm tube clamp for mounting any of our UVF Mount kits used with 3rd party electronic viewfinders. The handle can also fold down when packing your bag and can even be reconfigured onto the left, vertical 15mm rod for a secondary grip!The bottom portion of the cage includes a Manfrotto quick release dovetail which can attach to a variety of Manfrotto tripod heads. Quick release functionality works the same as existing Manfrotto plates. Simply turn the thumbscrew and depress the release pin to slide the plate backward out of the base.A built lens adapter support system is integrated into the base which is great for attaching to adapters with a 1/4"-20 on the bottom like Wooden Camera MFT to PL Mount Pro (1/4-20 Support Foot), and also many Metabones products.If lightweight 15mm support is desired, the cage may be combined with Unified DSLR 15mm Baseplate to provide pass through rod support (sold separately).
