The Fujinon LA30x7.8BRM-XB2 is a 4K broadcast lens that delivers the highest-in-class 30x zoom with a compact and lightweight design measuring 190 mm and weighing just 1.8 kg. With its newly developed drive unit, it makes it ideally suited for virtual and remote productions. 

Delivering 30x zoom with compact and lightweight design: The lens delivers the highest-in-class 30x zoom for portable lens for 2/3-inch 4K ENG-style cameras, while being compact and lightweight. With a telephoto focal range that covers 7.8-234mm featuring a compact and lightweight body, it reduces the size and weight burden for shoulder-mounted operation.

4K optical performance across the entire zoom range: The lens achieves 4K optical performance across the entire zoom range. Fujifilm's unique multi-layer coating ''HT-EBC (High Transmittance Electron Beam Coating)'' boasts high light transmittance and accurate color reproduction.

Equipped with Macro Function: The macro function allows for closer than M.O.D. focus up to 0.05 m from the front of the lens by sliding the unique focus ring forward. It enables the operator to film the extreme close-ups without letting go of their focusing hand.

High functionality enabled by the newly developed drive unit: The newly developed drive unit features high resolution 6-bit encoders for extremely accurate position detection of zoom, focus and iris, which is essential for virtual and remote production. The lens achieves a maximum speed of 1.0 sec and minimum speed of 1 20 sec when zooming from wide to tele end. It helps to capture a fast-moving subject during live sport broadcast, while enabling ultraslow creative zooms during live music.

Equipped with electronic flange back adjustment: A single button on the lens provides electronic flange back adjustment. The system provides fast and efficient adjustment as compared to the manual process.
