Mounting the camera plate to the camera uses four attachment points which gives the camera more stability. With the dedicated base plate mounted to the camera it becomes a part of the Vocas Sliding System. The USBP-15 MKII is a height adjustable shoulder base plate with a unique quick release balancing system to find optimal balance and stability with all kind of different lenses in combination with RED cameras. The camera adapter plate when attached to the camera, provides the camera with a mini dovetail connection.
