Our Vari-Color fixtures offer a true fit to the Planckian Locus aka Black Body Curve and with this true tintless white light at all correlated color temperatures throughout the adjustment range.
Wide Color Temperature Range
In White-Light Mode the Z1200VC CTD-Soft offers maximum color reproduction from 2800K to 6500K. For more extreme color temperatures the extended Kelvin Mode offers an even wider CCT range from 2400 to 9900 Kelvin.
Always True Colors
UltraColor color reproduction is the basis of our new EverTrue fixtures, providing a well balanced, full-spectrum light for maximum color accuracy, with a TLCI up to 99.
Calibration from our side ensures consistency from the beginning with virtually no tolerance from fixture to fixture. To ensure consistency after years of use EverTrue fixtures can be recalibrated by the user for accurate colors and color temperatures, always.
Tint Control ± G/M Adjustment
Adapt to the tint of other lights on set easily with our built-in tint control to adjust ± Green/Magenta.

The Z400S UltraColor utilizes the highly accurate F&V UltraColor LED. The F&V UltraColor LED has an exceedingly accurate color temperature and has a color rendering index of 95. With the UltraColor LED, F&V guarantees that each LED panel will vary no more than ±100K in color temperature as well as no more than ±1.0 in CRI. The UltraColor LED is the perfect LED for professional shooters and studios that need, without exception, maximum consistency. At a 60° beam angle, 400 LEDs produce a rich, bright, even beam of light which is perfect for high precision shoots in the studio or on location.
The Z400S UltraColor comes packaged with the noteworthy Milk Diffusion Filter which creates a soft, glamorous light. The Milk Diffusion Filter now utilizes a snap-in, quick-release mounting system. This new mounting system will work in unison with additional accessories, giving users the ability to stack modifiers on top of one another. This secure mounting system allows the light to be rigged sideways or upside down without the possibility of accessories falling or sliding out.
The F&V Z400S UltraColor has an expansion port which allows for installation of the SmartSync Control Circuit (SCC) as well as a DMX512 Module. The SCC module allows you to daisy chain multiple units together via CAT5 cables. When chained together, any light modified in the chain will cause all the other lights to dim in unison. The DMX512 Module allows for control of the lights with standard DMX512 dimmer boards.

Die Z400S Soft und die KS-1 Softbox sind das perfekte Team, wenn ein leistungsstarkes Softlicht benötigt wird. Mit 1841 Lux @ 1m und einem Abstrahlwinkel von 130° ist die Z400S Soft bereits ein sehr helles Licht.
Der KS-1-Verstärker bündelt das Licht in einem Abstrahlwinkel von 50° und erhöht die Helligkeit auf unglaubliche 4400 Lux bei 1m (5600K). Die UltraColor Soft-Serie bietet eine echte Farbwiedergabe über den gesamten Farbtemperaturbereich. Mit absoluter Präzision wiedergegeben, sahen Hauttöne und Farben nie besser aus. CRI- und TLCI-Messungen geben nur einen kleinen Einblick in die Wiedergabe des gesamten Spektrums von LED-Leuchten. Die UltraColor Soft-Serie kann über diese Werte hinaus mit einer ausgewogenen Farbwiedergabe glänzen und so wunderschöne Bilder erzeugen. Rein weißes Licht mit einem TLCI von bis zu 99.
