The OConnor O-Grips Double Jointed Set is a set of modular O-Grips configured to create double handles for custom applications, and can be used for payloads up to 44 lb (20 kg). A titanium core based construction provides rigidity and stability for camera mounted operations. Wide compatibility is offered by the OConnor O-Grips bridge that supports the 15 mm and 19 mm Studio and 15 mm LWS standard rod systems.
You can achieve complete spherical stepless articulation owing to the combination of 2 grips constituting the double jointed design. Addition of optional accessories as well as multiple-point connection on to camera systems is possible via the 3/8 stainless steel top screw and 3/8 bottom thread. You can quickly attach and remove the O-Grips system from the camera system using a commonly available 5 mm Allen wrench.

Constructed with a solid titanium core for extreme durability and reliability, O-Grips feature smooth-functioning, single-handle ball joints with a maximum payload capacity of 44 lbs (20 kg) at 7 in (18 cm) from ball center – making them ideal for work with both smaller and larger cameras. These are the first professional camera handgrips capable of fitting all three standard rod systems (15mm and 19mm Studio, and 15mm LWS) via the single, easy to use O-Grips bridge. OConnor O-Grips can be used with all common camera configurations (several optional accessories will be available).
Modular O-Grips are stackable for custom applications and can be configured to create double or even multi-joint handles. Each grip is fully adjustable and is capable of a half sphere of stepless articulation. In addition, by combining two grips, the range can be extended to a complete sphere.
Users can easily perform tool-free adjustment and locking of the O-Grips with one hand while operating most camera systems on their shoulder. With the success of the remote extension handle for the Sony FS7, Shape designed a similar solution adapted for the handle of the PXW-FS5. The handle is fixed with a SHAPE Standard ARRI rosette that you install on the camera. The handle is then secured with a ratchet knob screw on the rosette. The remote extension handle includes patented red push button technology that allows the handle a 360 degrees of rotation. The simplest way to adjust a handle!
