RigWheels Mitchell Adapter Plate With this adapter plate you can use Mitchell tripod heads on any of our systems that use either the RigPlate or RigPlate Pro. There are many different varieties of tie-down knobs for Mitchell heads so compatibility with RigPlate or RigPlate Pro will vary depending on the specific head and tie-down method. For example, if the head uses a “castle nut” you would need to use the Mitchell Adapter Plate in conjunction with the RigPlate Pro so the castle nut goes through the plate or, use a standard RigPlate with 3″ or 6″ risers.

Certainly, there are lots of quality PTZ cameras that are lighter than this so we have created weights that can be added to get to the target weight. The RigWheels PT-Zero isolator sections ship fully or partially assembled (depending on the option selected) and the other wall brackets and mounting accessories can be added on easily. In some scenarios, it’s necessary or convenient to place the PTZ camera on top of a surface or stand. With the newly added isolation components, we now also get exceptional results with the “camera-on-top” position and can offer this configuration for more installation options.

Brushless gimbals have quickly become a regular part of on-location production and the RigMount XL provides a quick and secure way to get dynamic shots from vehicles.  The RigWheels RigMount XL provides a wide “stance” which is ideal for the higher center of gravity associated when mounting a gimbal. The wider stance also helps distribute the weight of the gimbal and camera over a greater area so flex in body-panels is not an issue.
